The Orchard View Gardens is an affordable housing community for seniors developed by National Core, St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church and Episcopal Communities & Services in Buena Park, California. Orchard View Gardens will provide 66 one- and two-bedroom units and a 3,000 square foot community center. Additional amenities include a computer room, patios, and outdoor leisure areas.
Absolute Efficiency Group contributed to the Orchard View Gardens by awarding a LEED Gold certification alongside ECC Verifications. As certified LEED® Green Raters and LEED® AP for Homes, we are uniquely suited to implement our full expertise in the certification process, resulting in a more careful, hands-on approach.
To earn a LEED certification, Orchard View Gardens had undergone a comprehensive process beginning with its preliminary plan and design review, and completing with its final documentation and certification submission. In total, 4 buildings earned LEED Gold, serving as a strong recognition of the development’s commitment to sustainability, efficiency, and healthy living spaces for its seniors.
Our ECC Verifications had greatly complemented the LEED certification process, ensuring that housing units were accurately performing as designed and required under LEED standards. View our ECC Verifications page to learn about the verifications and tests performed for the Orchard View Gardens.
