Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
Established by the U.S Green Building Council, LEED provides a framework for healthy, energy
efficient, and cost-saving buildings. LEED’s rating system calculates various aspects of a building,
including but not limited to, water efficiency, energy, and indoor environmental quality. A LEED
certification is an internally recognized symbol for leadership and sustainability.
As certified LEED® Green Raters and LEED® AP for Homes, we specialize in providing
comprehensive verification and consultations to ensure projects meet all LEED prerequisites and
earn points for certification. Additionally, as certified ECC-Raters (fka HERS), Acceptance Test Technicians, and Air Balance Technicans, we are uniquely suited to implement our full expertise through every step of the LEED certification process, resulting in a more careful, hands-on approach.
The LEED Process
- Preliminary plan and design review
- Energy modeling and program alignment
- Field verification and performance testing
- Coordination with LEED for home providers
- Final documentation and certification submission

ENERGY STAR® Ratings
Adhering to the high-performance standards set by the U.S Environmental Protection Agency, an ENERGY STAR® certified building is recognized for its superior energy efficiency. ENERGY STAR certified buildings save energy costs for building owners and occupants.
We are certified ENERGY STAR® Single Family Homes and Multifamily New Construction for both national and California projects. As previously mentioned with LEED, we are suited to ENERGY STAR certify buildings by leveraging our full suite of expertise throughout the full process. Implementing our full services of ECC/HERS Ratings, Air Balancing, and Mechanical Acceptance Testing leverages our expertise through every phase of development both in the field and administratively.
GreenPoint Rated (GPR)
The GPR program is a California-based certification established by Build It Green, a non-profit
organization whose mission is to build efficient, healthy, and sustainable communities. GPR
performance standards are widely recognized by local, state, and national third party sources.
We are certified GreenPoint Raters for single-family and multifamily buildings. The rating process evaluates the following components: energy and water efficiency, indoor air quality, and resource conservation, and livable communities. Utilizing our full suite of expertise, we will be directly engaged throughout the GPR process from plan review, inspections, verifications, and final documentation with Build it Green.
